Please join us for the 4th Annual San Diego Breath of Hope Walk.
This 5K walk brings together lung cancer survivors, patients, families, and friends to help raise awareness, hope, and a call to action for all those touched by this disease. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, April 22, 2012.
Lung Cancer Alliance's San Diego Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Walk aims to raise public awareness regarding lung cancer and more specifically address the common myths surrounding the disease. Proceeds will benefit the Alliance – the only national non-profit organization that provides support and advocacy for those living with or at risk for lung cancer. Since 2009, we have raised over $350,000 for the Alliance.
The walk will be held at Cancer Survivors Park on Harbor Island (4100 North Harbor Drive, San Diego) and will be a 5K walk around beautiful Harbor Island. Registration and expo begin at 7:30 a.m., and the walk starts at 9:00 a.m. Transportation will be available for those who need help completing the walk.
